These Terms and Conditions are a legally binding agreement between you and SIA "PET A CAT", trading as Sody ("Sody," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of sodysodas.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it.

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

Sody is operated by SIA "PET A CAT", a company registered in Latvia (details in Section 14). We sell functional soft drinks and related products to consumers.

2. Eligibility

  • Any information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • Age: because our drinks are caffeinated, you must be 18 years or older to purchase where required by law, including in Latvia and Lithuania. If you order from another country, you must also meet any applicable local age requirement.
  • You will not use the Site through automated or non-human means.

3. Your Account

You may create an account to manage orders and subscriptions. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are provided through Shopify's Customer Account service.

4. Products, Pricing & Orders

  • We take care to describe and price our products accurately. If an error does occur, and we discover a mistake in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will let you know and you can confirm or cancel the order. Prices and availability may change without notice.
  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your order. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a product is unavailable or a pricing error occurred), and will refund any payment taken.
  • Prices are shown in the currency and including or excluding taxes as stated at checkout.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Shopify at checkout. We do not receive or store your full card details. By submitting payment, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship across the European Union. Shipping is free on all orders of 24-unit boxes within the Baltics (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia). For all other orders and destinations, shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Delivery times are shown at checkout, and risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal, Returns & Refunds

If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise it, contact us at meow@sodysodas.com within that period and return the goods.

For health and hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to drinks once they have been opened or unsealed - only sealed, unopened products in resaleable condition can be returned within the 14-day period. This does not affect your rights in relation to products that arrive faulty, damaged, or not as described, which we will replace or refund.

The unopened-product restriction above applies to statutory withdrawal. Our separate satisfaction guarantee below lets you open and try your first 24-can box.

7.1. 30-day Money Back Guarantee

Try your first 24-can box of Sody. If you are not happy with it, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will refund the price you paid for one box. You can open and taste the drinks, and you do not need to send any cans back.

  • The guarantee covers your first 24-can box purchased directly from sodysodas.com, including a one-time purchase or the first delivery of a subscription. It applies to Yuzu Burst, Passion Flow, Mango Dash and the Variety Box.
  • One claim per customer, limited to one box. Only one box is covered if you buy several together. The Care Package, later box purchases, subscription renewals and purchases from other retailers are excluded from this voluntary guarantee.
  • Email meow@sodysodas.com within 30 days of receiving the box. Include your order number and the email address used for the purchase so we can verify the order. You do not need to prove a fault or leave a review.
  • We refund the amount actually paid for the eligible box, including applicable taxes and after any discounts. Original delivery charges are excluded. There is no handling fee.
  • We will verify your claim and issue an eligible refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request and order details. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.
  • A refund does not pause or cancel a subscription. To stop future deliveries and charges, pause or cancel separately through your subscription portal before the next payment is processed, or contact us for help.

This guarantee is provided by SIA "PET A CAT", trading as Sody, at the address in Section 14. It applies to eligible deliveries in every country we ship to. It is additional to, and does not limit, your statutory withdrawal rights or your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described. The one-box limit and delivery-charge exclusion above apply only to this voluntary guarantee.

8. Subscriptions

If you buy a subscription, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the delivery frequency and price shown when you subscribe. The selected interval continues until you change it or pause or cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed through our provider, Seal.

You can pause or cancel any time through the subscription portal linked from your Sody account. Do this before your next payment is processed to stop that renewal. Pausing stops future scheduled charges and deliveries until you resume; cancelling stops future renewals. Orders already paid for are not automatically cancelled or refunded.

If you need help, email meow@sodysodas.com. The first-box money back guarantee applies equally to eligible subscription and one-time purchases. Requesting a refund does not automatically pause or cancel a subscription.

9. Reviews & User Content

If you submit a review, rating, photo, or video, you confirm it is your own, accurate, and does not infringe anyone's rights or laws. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and display that content in connection with the Site and our marketing. We may moderate, decline, or remove content at our discretion, and we do not publish content that is unlawful, offensive, or misleading.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content - source code, designs, text, graphics, audio, video, and the Sody name and logos - are owned or licensed by SIA "PET A CAT" and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit them without our permission, except as allowed by law.

11. Disclaimers & Liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the Site.

Product information is provided in good faith and for general purposes only. It is not medical advice, and our functional drinks are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are sensitive to caffeine, please consult a healthcare professional before use.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We aim to resolve any complaint directly first - please contact us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted here with the current "Last Updated" date applies to your use of the Site and any new orders.
