1. Who We Are

Sody is operated by SIA "PET A CAT", a company registered in Latvia (details in Section 12). We sell functional soft drinks and related products to consumers.

2. Eligibility

• Any information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• Age: because our drinks are caffeinated, you must be 18 years or older to purchase where required by law, including in Latvia and Lithuania. If you order from another country, you must also meet any applicable local age requirement.
• You will not use the Site through automated or non-human means.

3. Your Account

You may create an account to manage orders and subscriptions. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are provided through Shopify's Customer Account service.

4. Products, Pricing & Orders

• We take care to describe and price our products accurately. If an error does occur, and we discover a mistake in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will let you know and you can confirm or cancel the order. Prices and availability may change without notice.
• Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your order. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a product is unavailable or a pricing error occurred), and will refund any payment taken.
• Prices are shown in the currency and including or excluding taxes as stated at checkout.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Shopify at checkout. We do not receive or store your full card details. By submitting payment, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship across the European Union. Shipping is free on all orders of 24-unit boxes within the Baltics (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia). For all other orders and destinations, shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Delivery times are shown at checkout, and risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal, Returns & Refunds

If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise it, contact us at meow@sodysodas.com within that period and return the goods.

For health and hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to drinks once they have been opened or unsealed - only sealed, unopened products in resaleable condition can be returned within the 14-day period. This does not affect your rights in relation to products that arrive faulty, damaged, or not as described, which we will replace or refund.

8. Subscriptions

If you buy a subscription, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Renewals are billed monthly at a 10% discount on the standard price. You can cancel at any time with one click from your account or the subscription portal; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect from your next billing date. Subscriptions are managed through our provider, Seal.

9. Reviews & User Content

If you submit a review, rating, photo, or video, you confirm it is your own, accurate, and does not infringe anyone's rights or laws. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and display that content in connection with the Site and our marketing. We may moderate, decline, or remove content at our discretion, and we do not publish content that is unlawful, offensive, or misleading.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content - source code, designs, text, graphics, audio, video, and the Sody name and logos - are owned or licensed by SIA "PET A CAT" and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit them without our permission, except as allowed by law.

11. Disclaimers & Liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the Site.

Product information is provided in good faith and for general purposes only. It is not medical advice, and our functional drinks are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are sensitive to caffeine, please consult a healthcare professional before use.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We aim to resolve any complaint directly first - please contact us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted here with the current "Last Updated" date applies to your use of the Site and any new orders.
